I agree with the whole "recovered" thing. How do you define recovered? No symptons for how long? I mean cancer has to be in remission for 5 years before they tell say you are recovered. I see my ED as an addiction, I have had periods of time that I have ben symptom free but right now I feel like I relapsed and I am trying to stop again. I don't know how long it would take me to say I am recovered, I m in recovery though.
ReplyDeleteyes. omg and i agree with Josie on that one. the whole recovery thing, especially because different people define recovery as different ways. omg i write quite a few ED fanfics and in a lot of them, if you see characters gaining weight, most people would think they're recovered and that is a common misconception with EDs.
ReplyDeleteDennis Quaid was one i was shocked with! i read quite a huge list before but i remember Dennis Quaid shocked me :P
