Goals of the week 14

Last week my goal was to not binge because of emotions. And again, I did it! In fact, I binged only once this past week (although I overate twice). The binge was on my favorite kind of ice cream, and I was triggered by the sight of it. I think I'm doing very well, so I'm going to give myself an even harder goal: stop eating when I'm full.
It's so hard to tell if I'm full sometimes, but I think I can manage it. I can drink a glass of water before every meal to make sure I don't overeat, or maybe drink a glass of water after a plate of food.

My goal for last week was to not weigh myself. I did that one too! A week is about all I can handle though, and I weighed myself this morning before I went to breakfast. I forget what I was before I started not binging, but I was disappointed. I'd only lost a pound or less. And after all that hard work! So I'm going to try to refrain from weighing myself this week too, so I can forget about it. I was very happy with myself last week, and even though apparently I didn't lose much, I felt great. So I'm going to continue on that streak.
My new goal is going to be to have 1 positive interaction with 3 people besides my boyfriend each day. Eventually I want to make more friends, and this is a good first step to help me get over my shyness.
What are your goals for the week?

  1. Wow, that's wonderful! I'm glad you're making goals and reaching them. My goal for the week... Hmm... To smile more. Use a softer, kinder, voice when talking to people <3 I want to be known as the soft, sweet girl. Not the bitch.
    Take care! <3

  2. Gl on the new goal :) try to eat slowly - they say it takes around 20 mins for the brain to actually register that we are full

  3. Not weighting yourself is very good idea! Also very hard to do. The trick to stop eating when you're full is to concentrate on the food. Taste the food. Feel it filling you up and when you start feeling comfortably full, you stop eating, because in about 5 mnutes you'll feel even fuller. :)I still can't figure out what triggers me, unless when it's about emotions. Do not stop binging for your weight. Stop binging for your healt! You can lose weight when you're healthy, but right now, you must et rid of your bulimia first.

    I'm very proud of you!
