The Dating Game

Tomorrow I am going on a semi-date with someone I kind of like. I say semi-date because he didn't specifically say it was a date, and so far we are just friends. However, he knows I kind of like him, and we don't know each other that well so why else would he ask unless he wanted it to be a date?
Anyway, I am freaking out.
We don't know each other that well. What if it's awkward?
If it doesn't go well, how do I tell him or deal with it?
What if he's just interested because he knows I kind of like him?
What do I talk to him about??

  1. First dates (or just getting to know a new friend) are bound to have awkward moments. It might take a while for you two to find your comfort zone, but that's normal. Try to let the conversation flow naturally. Ask him about things like study or work if there's a lull in conversation. If it doesn't go well, then you guys can work on building a friendship.

What am I saying. I am the LAST person who should be giving any sort of advice on social and relationship matters.

  3. first dates have to be awkward. i think it's a rule. first few times of me going out with someone is always awkward but then it just falls into place. i hope it falls into place for you. just try to enjoy yourself lovely. get something you like off the menu, laugh a little, splurge a little - do not purge. think of having a lovely night. just enjoy yourself. after all, isn't that what dates are all about?

  4. I got the most cliche advise but just be you, don't think about it too much because when you just say what you think, it won't get awkward and you'll know instant if you click. Listen to Bella, she's a wise one.
    Good luck!!
